Zack Mintz

College Essay Specialist

As he pursued Anthropology and Psychology degrees at Tufts University, Zack served a number of roles within the campus literary community. Zack co-edited Future Histories, the university’s premier literary magazine dedicated to uplifting underrepresented and marginalized voices and artists. He partnered with the Tufts English Department to create monthly newsletters broadcasting speakers and events on campus. Zack also joined the Tufts Daily, where he copy-edited breaking news stories to deliver to the student body each morning. Zack started studying poetry at a young age having attended the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop, where he first developed his love for poetry and appreciation for polished writing. Zack’s involvement with campus literature combined with his academic training and poetic pursuits gives him a strong foundation to support high school students in developing their voices and writing for college admission.

As an advisor, Zack seeks to help students polish their writing skills and feel at ease with the writing component of the admissions process. He meets students where they are to build confidence in sharing their voices with a larger audience as their best selves.
