Esther’s journey to college counseling emerged from her years of experience in real estate. She believes that, with the right planning and guidance, the transition to a new home (and college!) can not only be easy and stress-free but a pathway to greater success. Esther is passionate about helping immigrant and military families and their students take the next steps in their own personal journeys. She understands the challenge of preparing for college and finding the right school is stressful. She also loves helping bring clarity to the myriad of confusing topics students and families bring, be it high school course curriculum, college selection or activity planning.
With a burgeoning passion for educational planning, Esther completed the College Advising Program at Columbia University in 2019. She is also completing the Certificate in College Counseling from UC Berkeley. She graduated with a BA in Music from California State University, Long Beach and speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Esther is originally from Southern California and is now residing with her husband in the beautiful, historic town of Alexandria, Virginia (suburb of Washington, DC).
