Sarah Mann
Essay Specialist
Sarah is a graduate of Pitzer College, where she double majored in Psychology and English World Literature and minored in Spanish. Through her various studies, Sarah has realized the power of perspective, identity, and narrative in storytelling. As an Essay Specialist, she strives to help students define their unique voice and story, build critical thinking skills, and grow their writing ability. Sarah believes that essay writing is an opportunity for reflection that helps students define what is meaningful to them and express their strengths–something she hopes students will carry with them beyond the application process.
In addition to her love for writing, Sarah has spent the last two years working as a positive development researcher and a practice manager in a mental health clinic. Sarah hopes to one day earn her PhD in Clinical Psychology, where she can build on her love of helping children and families reach their potential.
In her free time, Sarah can be found at the beach or hiking in the mountains, watching movies, cooking, writing, or finding fun new ways to stay active.
