Miller Liberatore
Essay Specialist
Miller graduated cum laude from Barnard College of Columbia University with two degrees: a sociology degree with a thesis in gender & sexuality, and a theatre directing degree. Their multifaceted career in collaborative storytelling and academic mentorship makes Miller uniquely equipped to help teens find their voice in the creative process of essay authorship.
As a teenager, Miller survived the college application process three years in a row: first as a typical high school senior, then as a gap year applicant, and finally as a transfer kid. Miller's journey sparked their passion for helping students find their way through the maze of college admissions without all the wasted effort, money, and time. After graduating from Barnard, Miller earned their professional certification in college admissions and career planning from U.C. Berkeley.
Since then, Miller has gained years of experience as a college admissions consultant and achieved full membership of HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association). Miller now serves as co-chair of the Advocacy/DEI committee for HECA and will soon serve on the board of a new nonprofit called Campus Q which seeks to promote safety and wellbeing for LGBTQ+ college applicants/students.
