Drawing from years of mentoring students through the application process, Anushka helps students craft essays that reflect both intellectual curiosity and authentic personal voice. Her approach centers on empathy, narrative clarity, and showcasing each student’s lived experiences, values, and aspirations. Anushka supports students in crafting college essays that are compelling, reflective, and deeply personal.
Outside of her work in college admissions support, Anushka’s academic and professional journey spans engineering innovation, healthcare equity, and global health advocacy. She has collaborated on public health research in Rwanda, contributed to maternal health biodevice development, and supported equity-driven healthcare initiatives. These experiences inform her ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and help them illustrate their background and drive.
Anushka earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is now pursuing her Master of Public Health at Columbia University’s Mailman School, where she focuses on reproductive justice and health equity.
She is excited to work with ILUMIN’s students as they navigate the college essay process and step into the next chapter of their academic and personal journeys.
