Nora began her career as a writing tutor at the University of Missouri Writing Center, where she worked one-on-one with college students on writing and research. It was there that she discovered how much she enjoyed helping students untangle their ideas, find their voice and gain confidence as writers.
Today, Nora specializes in college application essays and has spent more than a decade working with students as a teacher and tutor. She loves helping students identify the stores that matter most to them and shape those experiences into essays that feel authentic, thoughtful and distinctly their own. Her favorite part of the process is often the conversation before the writing begins, when students start to recognize just how much they have to say.
Nora holds Bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish, as well as a Masters’s degree in Secondary Education. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, learning languages and spending time outdoors with her dog, Magnifico.
