OUR RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Dear Students and Families -
Our mission has always been to help students reach their full potential. With that, making sure our students are safe and secure is of utmost importance.
In the midst of this corona-virus outbreak, we're reaching out to share a few steps we are taking to ensure our students, families, and team are safe and sound through this unfortunate crisis. Just to reassure you, there are NO known cases among our students, families, or staff — however, we still want to make sure we’re doing our best to protect our students.
// Video Meetings Until April 15th
We are transitioning to video meetings starting this week. This includes regular student meetings, free consultations, and staff meetings. We'll reassess the situation in early April and let you know if we will continue past April 15th. If you're one of our coaching students, your consultant will reach out soon to confirm video arrangements. If you’ve set up a free consultation, an ILUMIN team member will reach out soon.
// Offices Will Be Cleaned
Our office in Santa Clara and Fremont will be cleaned thoroughly using antibacterial cleaning solutions. All hard surfaces including tables, desks, chairs, bookshelves, and kitchen counters will be wiped down as a precaution.
// Spring Workshops via Webinar
Our spring workshops will transition to webinar format. We have exciting seminars to come, including “What makes Ivy-League students unique" and “Changing 2020 Admissions Trends” — we’re excited to share this critical content with you and will do so via webinar. Look out for registration info soon and THANKS to those who came out to our last workshop two weeks ago!
// Changing Summer Activities
For our current coaching students, we’ve extensively planned your summer and may even be done with all the arrangements. If programs, internships, or activities are cancelled, we will do our best to find alternative options to make sure summers are productive. Also, for our rising seniors, we are prepared to run our entire college essay bootcamp curriculum online if need be -- we're ready!
We are making a few adjustments so we can continue supporting our students and ensure our students and staff are safe. We take our role as advisors, mentors, coaches, and big-brothers-big-sisters seriously and will do our best to help our students be everything they were meant to be.
