Curtis has over 15 years of experience guiding students in crafting winning applications and finding the best college to match their unique needs. He holds a BA in Political Science from Williams College, a Master of Education from Harvard University, and studied law at Oxford University. Curtis was named a National Coca-Cola Scholar, a United States Senate Youth Program Scholar, a Bill Gates Millennium Scholar, a US Department of State Pickering Undergraduate Fellow, and a Fulbright Scholar.
Curtis worked as an advisor at MIT and trained at Harvard in the experiential practices of elite universities' admissions officers' profile evaluation of undergraduate, graduate, and professional school applicants. He also gained experience contextualizing and evaluating international student profiles while working at a global EdTech pathway university partner firm.
Curtis has also worked as an alumni interviewer, an admissions ambassador, a Teach for America Corps Member, an external reader for several elite universities, and an executive search consultant focused on leaders in higher education. He also studied information science at the master's level at the University of North Texas, gaining further professional admissions experience there. He will soon complete his PhD in management, education, and STEM at Hampton University.
