Bahar grew up in western Pennsylvania and brings a global perspective to her work in education, shaped by her Iranian heritage and passion for helping students navigate transformative academic journeys. With a background spanning college admissions consulting and teaching, Bahar has worked with hundreds of students and families through high-stakes educational milestones, including standardized testing, academic planning, college application strategy and personal storytelling.
She is particularly passionate about helping students identify their strengths and present authentic narratives in the competitive college admissions landscape.
She holds a B.S. in Spanish Language & Literature from the University of Pittsburgh Honors College and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also earned her Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from the University of California, Irvine. Her background in education reflects both academic rigor and a deep commitment to student growth.
Outside of work, Bahar is an avid writer who enjoys exploring character-driven narratives and also spends her time cooking for her family.
