Alan began tutoring while a student at the University of Washington’s Early Entrance Program, a program which allowed him to matriculate into university at age fourteen and graduate with a degree in economics three years after. Through the world-class curriculum at the University of Washington, Alan experienced firsthand the positive impact a dedicated, compassionate, and competent team of educators can have on a student.
Throughout the past twenty years, he has strived to provide that same positive impact as a math and college exam tutor to the next generation of scholars.
Alan also brings a unique set of skills and experiences from his past work in finance, property management, and construction that allows him to teach more effectively to a wider array of students than most tutors can. He also passed all three levels of the CFA exam in investment management and financial analysis.
