Lisa is a Yale graduate with a major in biology and a minor in psychology who graduated early at the age of twenty. She then made the choice to move to Casablanca, Morocco for her gap year where she was privileged to teach at an international school for a year before matriculating at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.
After careful consideration, and three years of hard work, she left medical school to return to the field of education where her true passion lies: working with students and their families. She graduated from SJSU with her Teaching Credential in biological sciences and is proud to say that she has been teaching and counseling for over a decade and couldn’t be happier with her chosen path.
Lisa has an extensive background in academic counseling, working specifically as an application specialist helping students realize their dreams of admission to their dream schools that suit their specific needs. She is also adept at coming alongside younger students to help them focus their path to success through middle and high school.
